US, some Arab countries not satisfied with JCPOA

TEHRAN, May 27 (MNA) – AEOI Spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi said the ruling bodies of the US and some Arab countries are not satisfied with Iran's historic nuclear deal as they've found it against their interests .

Kamalvandi's remarks came in response to US President Donald Trump's ranting that "JCPOA has emboldened Iran."

Some countries may have common interests and positions against Iran and that is why they make such comments, Kamalvandi told Mehr News on Saturday.

Pointing to the efforts by some countries to block the way to reach an agreement beween Iran and 5+1, he added the countries that sought tensions between Iran and the world were not satisfied the Iran nuclear deal from the beginning.

Kamalvandi stressed that the nuclear deal between Iran and the 5+1 is based on the interests of all countries.

He added that there may be some countries or some groups considering the agreement in conflict with their own interests and that is why they talk against Iran and JCPOA.

AEOI spokesman in response to Iran and China's disagreemtn on coasts of redesigning the Arak reactor, said China finally accepted Iran's bid for the price.

"The Chinese had their own arguments and since they were needed to use key professionals and a high level of expertise to verify the designs conducted by Iranian experts, they asked for high price," he noted.

Noting the presence of some delegations from China, Russia and Germany, Kamalvandi said agreement with China to redesign the Arak reactor could be a prelude to subsequent agreements and cooperation with the country.
